MCP: RealmPulse stats in your AI assistant

RealmPulse publishes player statistics over the MCP (Model Context Protocol) — your AI assistant can answer questions about classes, levels, zones and specific players right in the chat. Access is free; the full toolset needs a free API key.

Connecting

The server is stateless HTTP — just point any MCP client at its URL. For Claude Code for example:

claude mcp add --transport http realmpulse https://foragerstats.com/mcp

Or the universal JSON config (Claude Desktop, Cursor and others):

{ "mcpServers": { "realmpulse": { "url": "https://foragerstats.com/mcp" } } }

Guest access (no key)

Without registration one tool is available — get_class_distribution: players broken down by class and faction with a game mode filter. Rate limit is 30 requests per minute.

Free API key

  1. Register: the “Sign up” button at the top of the page.
  2. Open your profile and create an API key — it is shown once, save it.
  3. Add the header Authorization: Bearer <key> to your /mcp requests (most clients expose this as the headers field of the config).
{ "mcpServers": { "realmpulse": { "url": "https://foragerstats.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer rp_..." } } } }

Tools

The mode filter accepts exactly three values: pve, pvp, hardcore. Anything else is an explicit error listing the allowed values; without mode you get data for all modes.

Request example

POST /mcp MCP-Protocol-Version: 2026-07-28 Mcp-Method: tools/call Mcp-Name: get_class_distribution { "jsonrpc": "2.0", "id": 1, "method": "tools/call", "params": { "name": "get_class_distribution", "arguments": { "mode": "pve" } } }

Rate limits: 30 requests per minute without a key, 120 with one. On exceeding the limit the server answers 429 — retry later.
